The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:

- with the artist's copyright symbol lower right
- the colours slightly attenuated.
- a soft flattened horizontal crease in the lower subject, faintly visible in raking light.
- another unobtrusive flattened crease at the lower left sheet tip.
- some staining in the upper sheet verso, presumably residual old glue from previous hinging.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
