The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet.
- the red slightly attenuated, as is common with this print.
- the gold and silver still bright and unattenuated.
- some pale and unobtrusive handling marks at the corners and in places along the sheet edges.
- a short, unobtrusive 10 mm. scuff on the gold label, above the 'E' of 'INTERNATIONAL'.
- paper hinges in places at the sheet edges, one covering the stamp number 250 verso.
