The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours fresh and unattenuated.
- with the printer Rupert Jasen Smith's blindstamp at lower left.
- small areas of rubbing at the upper corners visible in a raking light, with some tiny associated flecks of abrasion to the printed surface at the upper right corner.
- some other areas of very minor rubbing, at the lower left corner and in places at the sheet edges, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a tiny ink loss at the extreme upper sheet edge, and at the lower left sheet tip.
- with Japan paper hinges verso.
Otherwise in very good condition.
