The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- a few scuffs, scratches and areas of surface soiling in places.
- two imperfections on the reverse toward the upper image edge (not showing through).
- occasional pinpoint losses, scuffs, and surface soiling in places on the reverse (not showing through).
- an adhesive label and a short piece of tape on the reverse.
- The image dimensions 603 x 781 mm., Schubert calls for 603 x 789 mm.
Otherwise apparently in very good condition, not examined out of the frame.
