The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- mount-staining and minor surface dirt recto and verso.
- a small paper abrasion in the upper right margin, with some associated dirt.
- a foxspot in the lower margin, with other occasional, pinpoint foxspots in places, recto and verso.
- a soft handling crease at the lower sheet edge, at left.
- remains of old paper tape verso, with some associated light skinning.
- hinged with paper tape at two places at the upper sheet edge verso.
