The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets.
- SAC. 201, 205, 208, 214 & 215 with discoloration in the margins and along the sheet edges, possibly caused by old tape verso.
- SAC. 203, 205 & 216 with bands of pinpoint foxing in the upper or lower margins.
- the remaining sheets with occasional pinpoint foxing in the subject and margins.
- some of the sheets slightly cockled, presumably as a result of hinging.
- each sheet spot-glued at the upper edges verso.
- each sheet visible in the frame to the edges, the reverse of the sheets not examined, not examined out of the frames.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
