The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, the sheet probably reduced on all four sides.
- pale light-staining.
- very pale occasional foxing in the margins.
- soft creasing at the upper right sheet corner.
- some annotations in pencil, and surface dirt, in places in the margins, with some associated disturbance to the paper fibres from their removal with an eraser.
- pale time-staining verso.
- old paper hinges at the upper sheet edge.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
