The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, presumably the full sheet.
- a small foxmark on the signature.
- a few other small foxmarks in the margins.
- three very skilfully repaired, unobtrusive creases and paper splits in the upper margin (very thinly backed with paper fibres).
- a small, associated hole in the upper margin.
- a short, thinly backed tear (circa 15 mm.) at the lower sheet edge at left.
- two small pencil inscriptions at the lower right sheet corner recto.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
