The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue entry:
- with wide margins, slightly irregularly trimmed at left.
- with pale light-staining.
- pale scattered fox marks.
- with some printer's creases near the right sheet edge, and some handling and other soft creases across the sheet (mainly visible in a raking light).
- brown paper tape along the sheet edges verso, and some other paper tabs.
- paper hinges at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
