The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets with deckle edges at right.
Plate a:
- an unobtrusive, pale whitish line (white pigment or adhesive?) in the lower right of the image.
- a small, unobtrusive area of surface retouching in the red area just below the figure.
- a tiny, pale brown foxmark in the right margin.
Plate c:
- two pinhead white spots in the background.
- a pale brown foxmark below the signature.
- very faint time staining along the right margin.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
