The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the sheet cockling, as is common with this print.
- the pink slightly attenuated.
- a tiny unprinted area in the lower left subject near the sheet edge, intrinsic to the making of the print.
- hinged with paper tape at places along the sheet edges verso, the reverse therefore unexamined.
