The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets, with a deckle edge below.
- the plates with some creasing throughout.
- each sheet with hard folds and creases along the edges.
- a few plates with short paper losses in the corners.
- the sheet with some occasional rust stains and minor foxing at the sheet edges.
- M.V 2, with a short, forked paper paper split (3 mm. approx.) in the lower right corner.
- M.V 1, with a brown stain in the arm of the standing man, the sheet framed, not examine dout of the frame.
- the portfolio showing wear.
- other smaller defects.
Otherwise as described, one plate framed.
