The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges on all sides.
- the impression illustrated in Harrison on pink paper; the paper on this example presumably faded to cream.
- the sheet slightly toned, mainly visible at sheet edges.
- soft handling creases near the sheet edges.
- hinged with paper tape at various points along sheet edges verso.
- the reverse not examined because tightly hinged.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
