The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- presumably the full sheets.
- the colours still fresh and bright.
- some horizontal creasing associated with the print having been rolled, mainly the left half of the sheet.
- a 40mm. skillfully repaired tear at the upper left, to the left of the feathers on the hat.
- a 100mm. repaired tear at the lower left, between the artist's monogram and the dress.
- a pale horizontal band of discoloration at lower right, extending into the dress.
- pale time-staining overall.
- the reverse of the sheets not examined.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
