The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- a small irregular inclusion under the nose of the subject, and some other inclusions in the left margin, inherent in the paper.
- pale time-staining in the margins.
- a 6-7 mm. paper loss in the upper margin.
- stray printing ink in the lower left margin near the sheet edge.
- pale foxing in the lower left margin.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
