The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- pale light- and mount-staining.
- an unobtrusive printing blemish to the lower half of the raised arm where the drypoint line is printing thinly.
- some soft rippling to the Chine appliqué in places, visible in raking light.
- a line of discolouration at the upper sheet edge caused by previous mounting.
- the lower left sheet tip re-attached.
- remains of old paper and cloth tape hinges at the upper edge and corners verso.
- with a French customs ink stamp lower right verso.
