The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges above and below.
- the colours bright.
- pale mount-staining in the margins, mainly near the sheet edges.
- a couple of pale handling marks near the lower sheet edge.
- pale irregular toning verso.
- some foxing and areas of pale discolouration mainly at the upper and lower edges verso, not showing through recto.
- a small area of skinning thin spot at the upper left sheet corner verso, due to the removal of an old hinge.
- an old paper tape hinge at the upper left sheet corner and at the lower sheet verso.
- hinged with paper tape in two places at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
