The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the left sheet marginally trimmed, with an uneven edge.
- the sheet slightly cockled, associated with the work being rolled.
- some faint light-staining across the sheet recto and verso.
- a scuff mark (circa 85mm.) in the right margin, from the image edge to the sheet edge.
- a small nick in the upper sheet edge, with associated local creasing.
- a short repaired tear (circa 5mm.) at the upper right sheet edge.
- a short nick (circa 2mm.) in the lower sheet edge.
- some brown dirt marks and scuffs across the sheet verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
