The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- printed to the edges of the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right, presumably the full sheet
- generally the colours fresh; the pink circle at centre right slightly faded.
- pressure marks in places along the sheet edges from hinges verso.
- some tiny pinpoint foxsmarks recto; scattered pinpoint foxing verso.
- occasional soft handling creases (only visible in a raking light).
- hinged with fabric and paper tape at places along the sheet edges verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
