The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges on two sides.
- some pale time-staining visible at the sheet edges.
- a short tear (10 mm.) at the left sheet.
- some handling creases in the margins (mainly visible in a raking light).
- a short, diagonal crease at the lower left corner .
- a pale, brown vertical mark (15 mm.) and two pale fox spots in the left margin.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
