The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours fresh and unattenuated.
- the numbering not uniform.

Son Abrines I:
- numbered 37/75 in pencil.
- some soft handling creases near the sheet edges (mainly visible in raking light).
- unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks across the sheet.
- a pencil inscription of 'SON ABRINES No 1' at the lower sheet edge verso.
- some minor scuff marks and occasional foxmarks verso, not showing through recto.

Sheet 910 x 695 mm.

Son Abrines II:
- numbered 9/75 in pencil.
- unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks across the sheet.
- two minor scuff marks in the lower right margin, near the sheet edge.
- a pale brown spot in the lower margin verso, showing through recto.
- a few minor scuff marks verso.

Sheet 905 x 697 mm.

- numbered 37/75 in pencil.

- stray printing ink around the platemark, predominantly in the upper margin.
