The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, a deckle edge at right.
- the colours strong, the yellow slightly darkened.
- a few areas of very pale discolouration: at the lower right sheet corner and in the area of the signature, and upper left.
- a foxmark above the red oval, upper centre.
- the sheet slightly cockled, with occasional handling creases.
- remains of transparent tape hinges at the sheet corners verso (no associated staining).
- with paper tape hinges in several places at the sheet edges verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition, framed.
