The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalgoue description:
- with wide margins, a deckle edge below, the sheet possibly fractionally reduced (Dupin calls for sheet dimensions of 590 x 755 mm.).
- the colours fresh and strong.
- a 15 mm. split in the upper right subject, backed with transparent plastic tape verso (with no associated staining).
- pale light-staining.
- occasional pinhead foxmarks in the margins.
- soft handling creases in the margins, mainly visible in raking light.
- some minor skinning along the upper sheet edge verso, associated with the removal of tape.
Otherwise as described in good condition.
