The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge below.
- the colours fresh and bright, especially the pink at upper right which is very vivid.
- some pale handling marks in the upper left subject, and in the margins.
- occasional, very unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks in the subject.
- a diagonal flattened crease in the lower right corner, some other soft handling creases mainly in the margins.
- a 4 mm. tear at the upper left sheet edge.
- some minor surface dirt verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
