The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with full margins, a deckle edge at right.
- with light-staining.
- very pale time-staining visible at the sheet edges.
- a few small areas of light surface dirt recto and verso.
- a few soft handling creases in the margins, mainly visible in a raking light.
- remains of adhesive from previous hinging with associated skinning at the upper and right sheet edges verso.
