The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, presumably the full sheet; with a deckle edge at right.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- some cockling at the sheet edges, mainly visible in a raking light.
- some short creases and minor indentations at the extreme left sheet edge, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a tiny surface abrasion in the unprinted area at centre left.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
