The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- an unobtrusive, vertical crease at the extreme upper left sheet edge, mainly visible in a raking light.
- some light and unobtrusive cockling at the upper and lower sheet edges, mainly visible in a raking light.
