The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges above and below.
- the colours fresh.
- the surface in very good condition.
- the sheet with pale and uneven toning.
- time staining at the sheet edges, some paler discolouration where hinged verso.
- some soft creases at the upper margin, some short indentation at lower and right sheet edges.
- hinged on the reverse, therefore the reverse of the sheet not examined.
