The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge above and below.
- occasional and unobtrusive pinpoint foxspots visible in the unprinted areas of the sheet.
- some light and minor scuffs in the printed black area of the image.
- a short nick (5 mm.) at the extreme right sheet edge.
- hinged with paper tape at places along the sheet edges verso, the reverse therefore unexamined.
Otherwise as described and in apparently very good condition.
