- each sheet tightly hinged with Japanese paper at the upper corners and centre-left and centre-right sheet edge
- the subjects generally in very good condition, with one or two short soft scuffs visible upon close inspection on Plates b, e and g
- Plate f: a 1cm vertical scratch at the lower sheet edge, partially touched-in and discoloured to a pale orange.
- some small areas of abrasions in the margins in places on plates a, d, and l, which have been partially touched-in and discoloured to a pale orange.
- a couple of tiny and unobtrusive pinpoint spots (either brown or grey) in the margins on plates a, d, g, I, j, k
- a couple of small handling indentations in the margins of plates a, f and l
- a crease to the upper left corner of the justification, other occasion soft creasing to the text sheets.
- some minor rubbing to the portfolio edges and slipcase.
