The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the colours very bright and fresh.
- some minor rubbing in places in the backgrounds, mainly at the corners or edges, visible in raking light.
- the full sheets.

Icons #1:
- some tiny white spots in the upper left subject, presumably intrinsic to the printing (no rubbing is visible in this area).
- some unobtrusive rubbing in the upper right corner.
