The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets, each with a deckle edge below.
- the colours attenuated, primarily the brown lines faded to a purple/grey (as is fairly common when exposed to light).
- one sheet (the blue example) with five tiny spots of brown pigment, presumably retouched unprinted areas.
- very pale traces of adhesive and very minor skinning, associated with previous hinges at the upper sheet edges verso
- lacking the title and justification pages and the original grey cardboard case.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
