The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:

- the surface in very good condition.
- dust particles and tiny textile fibres embedded in the black ink, resulting in a slightly pitted surface of the blank lines (inherent in the production of the print), mainly visible in raking light.
- hinged with linen hinging tape on the reverse along the sheet edges to a support sheet.
- Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
