The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet, with a deckle edge below.
- a tiny fleck of printer's ink in the left margin near the sheet edge.
- two very short tears at the deckle edge at lower right.
- a very soft handling crease in the lower right margin, mainly visible in raking light.
