The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, a deckle edge at right.
- the colours very fresh and unattentuated.
- with the pin hole registration marks at the left and right plate edges.
- a few very small printing flaws (uninked) in the upper right subject.
- a hairline vertical uninked printer's crease extending 35 mm. into the upper subject.
- a paper loss at the lower right corner in the margin.
- a few pinhead fox marks in the margins.
- some stray printing ink in the lower and right margins, and verso.
- remains of old hinges at the top corners verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
