The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, presumably the full sheet; with deckle edges at top and left.
- with touches of hand-colouring in orange ink, on the talons of the siren upper centre, the rings of the Saturn lower right, and to a small registration gap between the upper black borderline and the beige colour block.
- pale mount-staining.
- occasional foxing in the margins.
- an unobtrusive surface abrasion in the upper centre margin.
- old paper tape along the left edge verso.
- with clear adhesive tape hinges at the upper corners verso.
Otherwise in very good condition.
