The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins.
- occasional foxmarks, mainly in the upper subject.
- several tiny touched-in areas in the black in the lower subject (as is common with the woodcuts, and presumably at the time of production to achieve a solid black).
- a few tiny brown fibres on the printed surface above the fish lower centre.
- a tiny thin spot in the printed black at lower left.
- the sheet taped along the sheet edges verso; the extreme sheet edges therefore not examined.
Otherwise as described, the subject generally in good condition.
Framed (with glass).
