The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a skillfully repaired short tear (5 mm.) in the extreme left margin, another (circa 4 mm.) in the upper margin.
- two flattened creases near the lower corner, and another in the upper left corner.
- three minor and unobtrusive areas of skinning at the upper sheet edge verso.
- some minor scuffs and light surface dirt, predominantly visible in the margins.
- hinged with fabric tape at two points at the upper sheet edge verso.
