The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins.
- pale time-staining, darkening at the sheet edges.
- the sheet creased at the extreme edges on three sides as a result of being wrapped around the backboard.
- the lower and upper sheet edges with numerous pin holes where previously tacked.
- occasional pin-point mainly in the margins.
- pale backboard staining, and pin-point foxing verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
