The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the background attenuated from pale yellow to off-white.
- scattered foxing, mainly in the background.
- a horizontal 40 mm. scuff mark at left, in the white area.
- minor scuffs to the extreme lower sheet edge.
- a soft diagonal crease at the lower left corner.
