The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets.
- some minor rubbing to the printed surface in places on a few sheets.
- pale scattered foxing, mainly visible in the margins and verso.
- minor surface dirt to a few plates in the margins.
- offsetting on the reverse of the sheets.
- occasional creasing at the sheet corners.
- one or two 5-10 mm. tears in places at the sheet edges of Plates I and IV.
- pale moisture staining in the margin at the lower right edge of Plate VI.
- the lower left sheet tip lost of Plate VIII.
Otherwise as described; generally in good condition.
