The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge below.
- a horizontal hard fold across the lower margin, flattened and reinforced with a single layer of paper fibres recto and verso.
- cracks to the ink surface at the lower right edge of the image.
- three creases in the upper margin.
- a band of skinning at the upper sheet edge verso due to old tape.
- two small thinspots at the centre left and right sheet edges verso.
- minor foxing verso.
