The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet, a deckle edge at right.
- with the plate number 33 in pencil in the lower right sheet corner.
- with an unidentified inventory number 15032 at the upper left sheet corner verso.
- occasional very soft handling creases, mostly at the sheet edges and mainly visible in a raking light.
