The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, a deckle edge above and below.
- with very pale light- and mount staining.
- with back-board staining verso.
- old tape remains in places at the upper sheet edge verso, showing slightly through in the upper margin recto.
- a pale brown mark at the upper left edge.
- pinpoint foxmarks in places verso.
