The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with wide margins, presumably the full sheet.
- the sheet stuck down on a card support.
- two torn areas within the image (each measuring approximately 30 x 30 mm.), with brown crayon applied on top.
- additional fine scratches and small punctures visible in various places across the sheet, consistent with damage from broken glass.
- the sheet with some light-staining and pale staining visible in the margins.
