The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- five tiny pinholes at lower centre
- a couple of tiny specks of surface dirt
- some handling creases in the margins and sheet edges, mostly at the lower and upper edges.
- probably, tipped with in places to the backing sheet with glue, at the upper sheet edge verso.
