The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the caramel colour slightly attenuated.
- pale light-staining in the margins.
- a 7 mm. repaired tear at the right sheet edge.
- two pale blue pigment stains in the right margin and upper right sheet corner, possibly finger prints (workshop traces?).
- some foxmarks at the upper sheet edge at left, another at the upper right sheet edge.
- some dark staining at the extreme lower sheet edge.
- some other very minor stains and soft creases in the margins and sheet corners.
- the sheet cleaned in the past.
- some remains of old hinges and minor skinned patches at the sheet edges left and right verso, where previously mounted.
Otherwise as described, the subject in good condition.
