The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- with a French customs stamp on the reverse.
- with margins.
- the sheet slightly reduced by 5-10 mm. on all four sides.
- the colours still fresh.
- some pale, irregular discoloration in the margins.
- occasional scattered pinpoint foxing.
- some soft flattened creases visible in raking light.
- two lightly backed thin spots at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise in good condition.
