The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours attenuated.
- light-staining, pale mount-staining.
- a small brown stain in the lower margin to the left of the signature.
- a 45 mm. repaired tear at the upper right corner.
- several other repaired splits, tears and flattened creases.
- numerous thin spots visible when backlit.
- laid to a support sheet.
- a faint pencil inscription in the lower left margin.
- hinged with paper tape at various places along the upper sheet edge verso.
