The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, and a deckle edge below.
- the colours slightly attenuated, mainly the red.
- some handling creases visible in the margins, mainly a raking light.
- very occasional foxspots in the left and lower margins.
- hinged with fabric and paper tape at various points along the sheet edges verso, the reverse therefore only partially examined.
- some stray printing ink visible verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
